Layered sandpaper wheels - PROFI
These discs are characteristic by features of formerly used felt wheels with the abrasive glued on. These are manufactured from layers of sandpaper discs, where a higher number indicates a finer grit. These grinding wheels are designed primarily for semi-automatic grinding machines, but also for common free hand grinding grinders.
Discs are made up of many sandpaper layers (e.g. KLINGSPOR, VSM, Hermes). These are embedded into the special solid substance with a cavity or, in case of small dimensions, with a 6 mm diameter shank.
This tool finds multiple uses primarily in metal processing and prepolishing.
